N99 - qual order utility

well I'll be dipped.... I don't remember the exact problem I ran into
before (been a while since I messed with it) there was something about
the utility being a windows only program but wouldn't read windows
saved races or would only read windows, I don't know exactly.... but I
just went and saved a truck race at Gateway in dos, ran Qord, and it
did actually work although it substituted car numbers and drivers for
the trucks which was weird, but when I went back to the race, the
changes were there and the truck info was still there so woo-hoo!

Thanx, Dave...

I don't remember where I got it, I think it was at The Pits, but I'm
not sure -- if so, it's most likely still there... if not, the program
is called Qord

Very handy little jem if you have any need for setting a specific
starting order for a race - like The Winston, where the lineup is
determined by the finish order of another race and off-line leagues
where everybody sends their qualifying time and then the lineup can be
set accordingly...

You save a race after qualifying, and then edit the file that's
created to the order you want, then restore the race and go.... (you
can also create the file from scratch) it works with N99 and I believe
it will work with N2 (can't imagine it not working with it)

~now if there was something like that for ON-line racing....
