rec.autos.simulators

I upgraded to DX8a and now I can't calibrate my MSFF wheel in N4.  The
controller applet for the wheel shows that everything is ok, but in N4
the steering, which used to be axis 0 does not register anything.
When I go to the calibration screen and turn the wheel, axis 5 or
something registers the move.  When I try to reselect the steering
control and I turn the wheel it does not register the movement.  Gas
and brakes are the same thing.  Any ideas?

were you using the papyrus calibration or the directx calibration.  look in
the joytick options and try directx.
then if that doesn't work, you may have to re-install the sim so that it can
find the wheel.(not sure that will work, but it's possible.)
