GP2 Track Pack Question

by Preston Won » Wed, 31 Dec 1997 04:00:00

What is the order of the tracks after installing the Instantaccess GP2
track pack (ie. brazil #1, ..., Melbourne #16). The reason that I ask is
that I am deciding whether or not to purchase the track pack and I know
that some tracks such as Paul Ricard will over-write some existing
tracks and I want to play the enitre 1997 season. Thanks.

With a little creative editing you can race all tracks, well almost. You
can only have 16 tracks at any one time. But with the track pack you have
access to them all now. Get the track pack!!

GP2 Track Pack Question

Hi Preston,

track pack (ie. brazil #1, ..., Melbourne #16). ... <<

You can have a look at my Gp2 site on page
http://www.racesimcentral.net/~philmak/GP2MAN/TrackPac.htm for this
information.

over-write some existing
tracks and I want to play the enitre 1997 season. <<

Yes that's true but you can either manipulate the position/overwriting of
the new tracks yourself or use some of the freeware utilities available for
this purpose - also available from the above site.

Personally I  think this product is worth buying. That tracks aren't
'perfect' and the included Gp2 game editor and***pit designs, I think its
fair to say, leave a little to be desired. But the tracks are the thing IMO
and they are more or less OK with certain reservations, especially when
enhanced to some extent by the freeware items now available. The Gp2 game
editor does in fact include a few items that other freeware editors don't
yet offer. ( I bet they soon will now though :-)

Hope This helps.
