Can you just stick with just one make of car, or is it preferable to drive
as many laps in different cars as you can as regards lowering your handicap
?

hme0>:

GPLRank will compute your main rank using your fastest time for each track,
regardless of which car you use. It will also give you a seperate chassis
specific rank for every chassis that has in a lap at every track.

The original replays, that you have in your replay file, that the GPLRank
scale is anchored on were done using three different chassis I think. The
developers took their favorite car, and gave it their best shot. So whatever
works for you. You'll probably progress faster if you pick a chassis and stick
with it for a while, but you should try them all to see if you have
preferences.  The differences in the potential of each chassis isn't huge. Use
Multiple Choice Hell and look up the BRM times for each track and compare them
to your own times in any chassis, it's not the car, it's the driver.
