GP2 - save hot lap, how do I do that?

Hi

How do I save a hot lap? I tried many times but it keeps on telling me that I
have no hot lap to save. Where did I do wrong?

The game stores all the info for hot laps in ram or a .tmp file.  This
gets flushed whenever you leave the session or exit the pits.  Once
you have crossed the line to complete your hot lap try pressing escape
(pausing first is a good idea ;) ) and then selecting the appropriate
menu option.

You have to have completed a full lap - ie you can't save a lap where you
go into or out of the pits, or the first lap of a race. Otherwise, check
that you have hard disk caching switched on in the advanced options menu
if you don't have much RAM.

You cannot save a lap that started or ended in the pits, i.e. you
must have crossed the start/finish line. Hope this helps?
