Yesterday and today I seend this on VROC.  Unfortunatly my ping for
them has been at 700+.

Any way,  Is this some kind of a driving school?  Or is someone
trying to tease us?  If it is a real online driving school I'de like to
ask a few questions about the school.  Who would I contact?

I saw you starting to host a race today and tried
to pop in to say hello, but you never did start it
up.  Your ping was over 700 to me.

It's not a school - just a place to meet up and
race.  If you get a decent internet service
provider, I'm sure you'll get some lessons :)

The concept of an Online driving school does appeal to me!  One of my
sponsors is putting me through a driving school at WGI this summer.  In the
mean time,  I sure could use a pre-summer driving school.  The tid-bits that
I read on the Ngs do help but nothing would help more then having someone
telling me what I'm doing right and wrong *AS* I'm doing it.

I'de like to talk to someone who already has gone through a driving
school.  I'd like to know what is involved in the class rooms as well as on
the tracks during the schools.  With luck we could figure out some way to
implement this into Online driving schools.

%     Yesterday and today I seend this on VROC.  Unfortunatly my ping for
% them has been at 700+.

Just a note about VROC's "700+" ping rate.  This is VROC's default
response if it was unable to obtain a ping rate during it's 4 attempts
at pinging a host.  For some weeks, my ISP had turned off the socket
that allowed outside pings to my host and VROC always reported 700+.  I
would suggest that one should always attempt connecting to  a host that
reports 700+ and then check the latency once inside GPL.

To check the latency in GPL:

Close chat window
press ALT-L
Open chat window

the latency report will appear in the chat window.
