I have downloaded the Indy track from alt.binaries.simulators.auto and it
really is the real track but I have run into a problem.  The track is a
light blue color. I am trying to run it with ICR2 rendition ready version
that came with my intergraph card.  It runs fine but this blue color is
driving me nuts.  I have tried running as is and with the convertor I got
from "The Pits". I don't know if this is a converter problem or what. Idid
have a little trouble running the converter. Was I supposed to over-rite
the indyfiles or what?  Has anyone got the track working with the Rendition
yet? This track was posted by "MOSH!!" I noticed someone in this group also
has posted it here. Is it already ready for use or do you need to convert
it? If someone is interested in e-mailing me the track please feel

Thanks,

Richard

It's ready to use, just make an indy directory and copy the files to
it. Works fine with my intergraph card. If your using the converter
you have to rename the ind2icr.exe ( i think that's the file name) to
indy2icr.exe so it doesn't try to overwrite itself.
Perhaps if you called Papy tech. support... (just kidding)

You have a problem running pirated software, and you want us to help?
Think about it...

Does anyone else see something wrong with this, or is it just me?

If you want it, pay for it.  I have my copy.  Bought it many moons ago.  I
play it, legally, whenever I wish.  Guess what?  No blue track.  Wonder
why?

You can't find it to buy it?  Boo hoo.  I feel for ya, but I can't reach
you.

company who produced the game anymore!!  Now just becaue your a sucker

And this makes it ok?  Mine runs just as well, same card.  Paid for that
too.  Did you steal that too, or actually pay for it?
How much did I pay?  Don't remember.  Whatever they were asking at the
time.  I have the original disks right here.  Three disk set of the
original ICR 1.0,  two disk set of the Version 1.01 upgrade with expansion
pack,  one disk set of Version 1.03 with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Total price?  Don't know.  Didn't keep the receipts.

Perhaps you would, perhaps you would not.  Ever wonder why you can't buy it
anymore?  Probably a legal issue, huh?

Poughty?  Can't be that, whatever it is.   And if owning original software
makes me a sucker, then I guess I am one.

Owning pirated software make you a thief. Guess you are one.

Mind my business?  In case you didn't know it jackass,  when you and your
other thieving friends rip the software companies off,
they pass this off to those of us who buy it.  So telling you that you are
a thief, is minding not only my business, but my finances as well.

Your idea of ' They don't sell it, so I'll steal it' is B.S.

Settle down kids.  If you have a personal problem with Robert, please
have the decency to express it through e-mail.  There is no need to do
so in the newsgroup for all to see.

Well well, i'm in the phone book look me up and come on over! Bring some
friends though unless you can handle 6'2 220lbs. (Age 26).  Come say that
to my face .  And know i'm not in the army at HAAF or Ft. Stewart. I happen
to be a VP with a million dollar business here in Savannah at the young age
of 26.  What have you done with your pathetic little life boy.

I apologize for starting this thread by calling a certain party a thief,
then continuing to bait that person when he replied.  I still believe that
what that person did was wrong, but I should not have continued with the
thread in public after noting the content of his replies.  Did not mean to
offend everyone, will try to play nice in the future.

Email is still ok though, right?  :-)

Sincerely,

Robert

Nah, he deserves it. I'm not sure if anyone else noticed it, but isn't
it strange that a 26 year old VP that runs a million dollar business
know anything about laws regarding software piracy? Or for that matter
understand why Papyrus can't sell the software anymore? OTOH, it
appears the boy genius has some problems with grammar also.
Maybe that slips through the cracks when he logs on. :)
