seems to be a problem with the install program for the 7 track set.
When the setup program prompts you for disk 2, it looks for something
and the pops up a window that says "Wrong Disk. Insert disk 2".
There is nothing wrong with my disk 2.
I found that you can manually install the tracks. Go to the
IndyCar/Tracks subdirectory and make a directory for each track on
disk two. Make sure that the directory names are the same as the self
extracting file names on disk two.
Then switch to the floppy and (if you're installing Detroit for
example) type:
Detroit c:\indycar\tracks\detroit\
and it will extract the track stuff to the proper directory. Note:
the last back slash is REQUIRED or it will preface each file name with
Detroit (or what ever track name/directory you're installing).
When I first tried to load one of the manually installed tracks, my
machine bombed. I just re-booted and everything's fine.
Anybody know why the install program bombs on disk 2?
