What are the new tracks being released.  A guess would be Sears Point
and C***te...beyond that, we already know Daytona is not going to be
one...maybe Rockingham?

Hey...

1. I am still playing the F1GP on an Amiga 500 and I wonder if that
is the same game you guys are playing.

2. I have been playing it for a while and I got bored because there is no
compitition from the computer drivers. Is there any chance so that I am
able to speed up the comp. drivers?

3. Are all of you guys driving the 100% races... I usually play with
10-15% and start last... that gives me a little competition... if I would
play 100% I would lap every car at least 3-4 times. Are the cars in 100%
faster?

I hope that somebody is able to answer those questions...
Thank you,

JJ

I'm still a relative beginner at this (on a PC, not Amiga), but I've found
that if the competition is set to "Amateur" then the game is too easy.
It's still fun to pass everyone though.

But with the level of competition set to "Ace", I am definitely going to
need a lot more practice before I ever get to the point where I could say
that I get bored from lack of competition!!!

Am I really that slow, or are you really Ayrton Senna reincarnated?

that will be included in the Track Pack are:

1) C***te Motor Speedway (day and night racing)
2) Dover Downs International Speedway
3) Pocono Raceway
4) Richmond International Raceway (day/night)
5) North Carolina Motor Speedway (er...Rockingham)
6) Sears Point Raceway
7) North Wilkesboro Speedway

I'm sorry to have to say this but yes, you really are that slow.

As for JJ you could try using an editor to change the AI cars
configuration.

1. Yes unless it's a PC version (boo hiss)

2. Dunno, but there is a PD disk out with a F1GP editor for the amiga which
allows you to change the way the other drivers behave, according to Amiga
Format (issue 68 February 95).

3. In the course of my sad life I've done 13 100% seasons and the cars are just
as slow as with a shorter race.

Check out my mail "AwesomeStunt" that I posted about 30mins ago.

Yep, that is indeed correct as I wrote the editor :)

The disk in question is available from most PD libraries.  I recommend
17-Bit Software - the disk number for F1GP-Ed is 3464.  Check out my web
pages if you wish to download it (or Aminet).

Look out for F1GP-Ed 3.00, which will be available very soon, indeed and
totally out peforms the version reviewed my Amiga Format!
