Boy did I srew up in that last restart :(

I was on older tires taking the high line through 3 & 4 but drifted up to
the wall. By the time I reached the exit I got some wall glue and couldn't
be avoided anymore.
Sorry to Brian :) who had a very good change of winning and got robbed in
the process.

Apart from this I think we had a pretty good race.
I certainly had some good time especially when I was able to keep up with
the lead draft.

Also noticed James and Liz were running very strong tonight.

cheers jurjen

BTW - you were right about my carfile Dave. Somehow I set 3dpp up with the
wrong car - fixed that now :)

But I notice you didnt seem to have the right carfile as well? RA tells me
you used 19_j_mayfield.cup.car ??

I feel sorry for Brian too.  Just think, at least you didn't stop in the
pits 1 lap too early :)

My hats off to Ginger and the rest of the to 5 runners half-way through.  We
had a yellow, and they did the yellow-flag thing perfectly and a major
portion of the field was able to get thier lap back cleanly and put us back
in the race.  Most of us got caught by that after pitting.

As usual I knocked the right-front fender off about 5 times during the race
on the turn-4 wall.  I ALWAYS do that here :)

Spent most of the race running with Jurgen.  It was fun :)

-Larry

P.S. Where are the standings?

Also, MITCH - Turn the points back on!  We didn't score that race on Sierra!

That was one of the reasons I parked it when I got lapped.  It was shaping up
to be a long afternoon of no fun(running slow and alone) with no benefit...

One of the best runs I have had at Lowes.  Thanks to the top 5 for letting
us get our lap back after going down on that first long green.  That put me
back up front, and I was running good with the top 4 when me and Spit got
together. Don't know if I came down on him or if he pushed up, just one of
those racing deals. But the car was a handful after the damage and I could
not get back up to speed. It was a great race by everyone and a lot of fun.

Yes, I've used that car for a long, long time now. Previous management
wanted me to use a different car, and the car file was put into circulation
without my consent. I have no way of getting a custom 19 painted for me, so
I just use one that's in everyone's game already.

Hey Eldred, why don't you join RRH - they've got a rookie series that
runs on Monday night and there's a LOT of help for people dealing with
making their own setups.

Just a thought.

Hmm dont get it :)
There's a car for you in the carset called ras19_dfisher.cup.car.

That's the car I didn't want to be pushed into using. Somehow it ended up in
the car file collection anyway.

Thanks John, but I'm about *this* close to giving up sim racing totally.
Running around last(or damn near) all the time gets old, y'know?

I seem to remember the RASCAR races counting towards rating, LPI, etc.  I
certainly didn't get 60+ race starts this year from pickup races...

Doubtful.  You're faster than I am, so you would have quickly left me in the
dust.

C'mon Eldred, before you think about doing anything rash at least try
out the 65 Mod! Promise it'll be fun to drive, at least. Even the Honda
and BRM  ;)
