Hi folks

After 13 months away I am back in the workshop working on another batch of
pedal units.
After selling our home (and workshop) and renting for a while(no workshop)
and building our new home(and new workshop) I have finally got up and
running again and I'm back on the job making high quality alloy pedals
units.

If you are interested or just wanna looksee go to

No kidding, and let's not forget $48.31 for shipping!
They do look pretty cool though. If I had the extra dough I'd just might get
'em. ;)

Had me a set for a while now, and can say with absolute certainty that
they're worth every penny. Start saving your money. <bg>

I have a terrible memory. In fact my memory's so bad I can't remember how
long it's been since I've forgotten anything.

Depends what you want, plastic ***or well made pedals? I paid $3400 for my
Hypersim, these pedals are cheap!

Never let me down the mileage I used to run I'd have got through 25sets of
plastic tat by now.

You get what you pay for.

If your serious about sims youll find the cash for good equipment.

As an owner of 3 ECCI units I've come to know if you want good quality
you're going to pay for it.  These pedals look very well made and the design
is outstanding.  Maybe some would consider them a better value if they came
with a squash ball you could stuff behind the pedals...lol.  I'm glad to see
you're building your pedal units again Nigel.

Certainly the US dollar is not helping me at present.  The same unit was
$280 US early last year.

Had my set for 3 years now, never had a problem with them. Springs have
never broken and only replaced the pots twice. Couldn't be happier :)

Lets go back to last year then! :)

My main problem is this..   Sure, you can tell that they look realistic but
it is hard to shell out that much cash without knowing how they will
actually feel

Some of you have said that you have had a set.. so.. what makes them better
than others?  I have a pretty good pair of pedals and I have owned a TSW2 at
one point in time.  So tell me honestly how/why they are so good?

Tell me how the drop down design makes them feel..

The main point that makes them feel realistic is obviously that they are
hinged at the top, like a real cars accelerator, brake and clutch pedals.
Unlike most sim pedal systems that are hinged at the bottom. The double
spring system on the brake also gives a realistic feel. You push the brake
pedal down about 1/3 of the way and the second spring comes into play,
making the pedal harder to push in and giving a feel very similar to real
cars brake pedal. Once you have used them you understand why everyone that
has a set raves about them.
Sid.

I agree, it's the brake pedal that makes them stand out from any
commercial stuff I've tried, the smooth and accurate action of the gas
pedal helps along with the incredible reliability, but if I had to point
out one single item, it would be the feel of the brake pedal

The second spring introduces the the pressure controlled brake
pedal....or at least it tricks your brain into reacting in that way, I
find it much easier to find the sweet spot on the brakes this way, not
to mention that it's much easier to modulate the braking pressure and
keep the brakes/wheels just at the point where they don't lock up

ECCI 6000 series PMB2 option has a similar effect at preventing braking
lockups, though it uses a different type of mechanism.

That's what I've been told too, and while the method is different, the
end result is the same, and people who haven't tried these systems
usually don't get it, you get a "feel" for the brakes that's just
unbelievable

Some people have modified their various pedal sets with squash balls and
stuff to get the same thing, and I know a couple of guys who have used
springs from a Mini clutch assembly on their Logitech pedals .... Hi Ed,
Matt :-D, all to get that important extra pressure for the brake pedal

I modified my old CH Pro Pedals to get some of that feel as well and was
quite happy with that, until someone posted a link to the RedLine pedals
in here, and I knew I had to own a set of those, my brother took one
look at mine when they arrived and placed an order as well :-D
