SCGT and TSW2 problems

I"ve reloaded SCGT to experience it with  a wheel, I have a TSW2 which
works great with GPL, Porsche Unleashed, NASCAR4. But with SCGT it
will not recognized the brake pedal only the throttle.

Anyone else have this problem, my wheel configures correctly in
Windows Control Panel.

Does SCGT not recognize dual axis controllers ?

I think this was addressed in the SCGT patch 1.551.  It is around somwhere
with the No-cd patch and the Visual patch patch all in one.

Anyone remember where..?????

the patch is at the uspits.com  But here is a work-around as well.  When
you click on the scgt menu/icon to start loading the program, hold both
pedals down until the game is completely loaded.  That should doit...
also I was mistaken about the nocd portion of theuspits patch.   I believe I
got it from Sean's site where the extra tracks and 24 car .exe is located,
go first to the pits and get their 1.551 patch, then go to Sean site and get
his
updated spcar.exe.

Actually I have to keep my pedals pushed until I open the options menu.
Sometimes I have to push the pedals up and down also. One thing I did notice
was I would sometimes lose calibration and would have to redo the
calibration. Kind of a pain in the butt.

thanx everyone !!!

, holding the pedals down until the Options screen works, one other
thing that I have to do is everytime I relaunch the game I have to
first hold the  gas/brake down then once in Options screen I have to
click Use Defaults, then reconfigure the controller, if I don't do this
it won't recognize the brake,, kooky !!

The only thing that bugs me about SCGT is that the throttle response
seems really weak,, anyway to improve that?  Also I can't lock the
brakes up at all, is this not possible?

Perhaps I've been playing GPL too long, LOL

I'd be nice if GPL was as easy to modify like SCGT, Shelby Cobras in
GPL would be a blast !!!

sounds like you have a car with ABS brakes.  With my LWFF I lock
up the wheels if I even THINK about touching the brakes.
different cars have different hp and resultant throttle response, but it is
a
differernt feeling game than GPL.  Make sure you try the Advanced Options
Editor...and turn off that supersticky grass.
