GP2 and Sidewinder Precision Pro

Hi there,

believing that no GP game betters Microprose GP2, I'd love my Sidewinder
Precision Pro to work properly with it. I know it's a DOS game, but it runs
fine under Win95, and I'm pretty sure that I got it to work ONCE using the
Rally Championship profile. But most of the time, in gameplay or calibration
within the game, there is a large delay between moving the stick and the
result. (by which time I've taken out 10 mechanics)

SOMEBODY must have this combination, I hope they also read this newsgroup.

Regards

Afraid I can't say why it works, but I gave my GP2 game to my brother, whos
not really a gamer. he has a precison pro, and all we did was go through the
normal joystick calibration in GP2, and it worked fine. He has Windows95.
Cant give you any specfics - not familiar with the setup screens in GP2 -
all I'm saying is it worked for us and we were complete novices. One thing -
he is using the serial port - not USB
