You guys REALLY need to understand.  This isnt Mitch's, it OURS.  If
everyone felt they are an integral part of this club then allot of what
happened wouldnt have.  Exclusion is bad inclusion is good :)

Well, we can't all update the site at will. There can be only one person
that takes care of the site or at least updates it with content provided by
others. Otherwise people are going to overwrite eachother's work with
outdated pages.

Like I said: it's all good and fine to say "it's RASCAR's" but you must have
someone to do the work. If "RASCAR" doesn't care to update its site, drivers
will not care to run in the races and you'll descent to running races with 8
drivers in it again. They'll be clean alright... they'll also be zero fun.

Well, include some people to do the work then. <g>

I'm glad to hear that.  You really had me going there.  I thought you
were serious about the "driver selection process" and excluding "any
numbskull fresh from the pickup circuit".  ;-)

Inability to drive your car around a given track safely in traffic will
exclude someone.  Im not making that decision alone BTW.  Numbskulls that
can drive cleanly safely more than welcome :)

How about we set the server start time a few hours earlier than the race
start time and have a 30 minute timed practice race sandwiched between 45
min regular practice?  We could then see/test a drivers ability in that
albeit limited time frame and give the Europeans some flex time.  Just an
idea.

In a group, simply saying you are not making a decision alone really does
not cut it.  On the rascar website you say you and Dave.  That is still only
two and does not indicate an "our", as in "group".   I have yet to see where
you are taking any kind of consensus except to have people *apply* to an
email address.
I am really not understanding where what you are doing is any different from
what John and Eldred were doing before except now the posts are coming from
you.

By the way, you can continue to ignore me as I have no intentions of joining
your group.  I am simply a person subscribed to ras and posting my thoughts.
