No its not check the header from the original message and what do you get.
Let me show you.

Notice Richard Manning on the end.  I haven't run a traceroute on this
message but I would say it is safe to assume Jim didn't send it.

Just so everyone possible knows: the above post, attributed to me, was
a forgery, and Papyrus has not cancelled the patch, nor has any delay

tlymp,
No flame necessary. Your entitled to your opinion. It's no crime to have
your state of mind<G>. As for me, I don't even have time for N2 right now
(still squeeze in at least one 50% Hawaii race a week though). Until April
15th, my laying awake will have little to do with Nascar.

Drop a rock in a bucket of water and watch how fast the resulting hole fills
up to get an indication of how fast there will be a replacement for Richard
Manning.

I would guess it's because his Netcom account has been canceled.

riding
on a *little* yellow air-conditioned bus...Perhaps you should consider
moving away from Love Canal?  ;)

One of the nice folks at Netcom told me that the account has been
"disabled", and that it will stay that way until he understands
Netiquitte, and their policy...  And I say Good for them!

Any one ever here of sarcasam? Let's try to take things with a little
levity. I'm a total autosim ***,as my 1000+ hour on hawaii will show.
I will admit, there could have been a better way to enter the NG.
I apologize if anyone took ofence to my remarks.

No problem MrV. Sorry but the timing wasn't all that great. Richard
impersonating Jim really ticked me off. Back in the old days, Ed
Martin from Papyrus used to frequent this group and the same thing
happened to him. I think he got fed up with that and how difficult it was
to carry on a civil discussion about Papy's Sims so he left. I also
remember Adam L. (not gonna try) from Papy posting some general
time frame estimates with regard to the release of the N2 demo. When
the demo didn't arrive at the *estimated* time Adam took a heavy flame
beating which is one of the reasons why we're not going to hear anything
about the patch until it's at the Sierra web site. We don't hear from Adam
much anymore. Anyway, I personally appreciate Jim Sokoloff's presence
on this group answering questions and such. I'd hate to see him go too.
Fortunately, he seems to have a little better armor than those who came
before him (not to take anything away from his predecessors of course).

Cheers,

<Flame bait snipped>

Isn't this the sort of ***that some jerk^h^h^h^h moron posted awhile
ago which chased Ed Martin away?

It seems people having difficulty understanding about the little yellow
air conditioned bus.  It is where the physically, mentally challenge
kids ride.  Yes, I was trying to word that politically correct (pc).  If
that is too hard I will not be pc and say retards or mental midgets all
of these classify Richard Manning.

I am not bashing challenged kids, I spend time with a lot of them so do
not flame me.
