Does anybody have the pin assignments for the SB Live joystick port, I want
to put a dual/single axis switch on my***pit.

If you can find where "Lew's Wheels" moved to, all the info you need is
there.

different on the SBLive, I think

They show two different pinouts for a gameport. The basic difference is that
some ports use pins 12 and 15 for midi in/out. Don't know if either applies to
the SB Live.
