Need for Speed Collection and Windows XP

Hey gang.
Just received The Need for Speed Collection - I'm sure you've seen it
on the software shelves. It's NFS II SE, NFS III Hot Pursuit, NFS High
Stakes, NFS, Porsche Unleashed and NFS Hot Pursuit 2.

Anyone have any experience with XP and this collection? The box says
Win 95 and 98 supported, but I have Porsche Unleashed and it runs fine
under XP. Anyone know about the rest? If not, I won't bother opening
it - I'll just return for a store credit considering I'm currently
having a blast with NFS Underground.

How did you get PU to run under XP?  I couldn't even get the damn thing to run
in Win2k...

It just ran out of the box.
Mind you the copy I have as not from this collection - I bought it
seperately about 3 months ago - I'm sure it doesn't matter but thought
it was worth mentioning.
Make sure you read the readme.txt file that installs in the Porsche
Unleashed program group. It may help with any tweaks you need to do.
The graphics seem to be decent enough although the text is sometimes
very choppy/unreadable. This is covered in the readme file but I can't
remember that specific fix.

I have NFS III, VI, V, and VI all running well on XP pro P4-2.6GHz system
with a Voodoo 5 5500 agp card.
No Underground acquired as of yet.

I tried it on two different systems, and got the same result on both.  It's
been a while, but I *think* it would lock at a black screen on startup.
It ran just fine on my win98se box, but I had a V5 then.  I haven't reloaded it
with my GF4 yet.

Mine was a standalone copy as well.  I tried the readme file after I got the
same error on a second machine.  Didn't help.
