GPL: A Useful Utility

Heyas

Ok i know nothing about the inner workings of GPL or the tracks, but..

A utility that can keep track of your best lap times at any track would
be handy.  The Best Laps board in GPL only keeps track of the included
tracks of course, does GPL at least try to write a best lap for the new
and converted tracks? Is it even buildable?  It wouldn't have to keep
track of marque or even whether it was practice or not, just anything
that helps me remember what my pb is at Brands Hatch or Talladega would
be nice.

Just my thots

Well, i really don't spend a lot of time paying close attention to my
lap times, nor do i save a replay of every session.  With so many tracks
now in existence i find it tuff to remember if that was a fast lap or
not.  For example last night i was running some practice laps at Monaco,
for the first time in a loong time.  When I went to my best laps page
afterwards I discovered I'd run a PB (i not tellin yas how bad tho +)
Even tho i really didn't think i was running laps that well.  Lol i half
expected my F2 laps to be quicker.

I am not too concerned with my PB's or setting any hotlaps, i'd just
like to be able make monitoring my progress a little simpler i guess.

I always keep a replay of my two or three best laps for every track
so I can merge replays of me and faster guys with SpyGirl and try to
learn something, therefore my fastest laps for ALL tracks are listed
in the replay folder.

The GPL Replay analyser will do this. It reads your best times for the
standard tracks and combines these with the best times from you replays for
the other tracks. These can be displayed by car or track in html  format.
The only problem is that you do need a replay, but as these are personal
bests, I am sure most people would try to make one.
