I find an annoying cursor shadow in the menus otherwise they work OK.
Don't know if they affect framerate (and since I didn't check b4 I installed
them, I'll never know ;).

The drivers have installed ok, but how do I get the MonsterII control
panel ?? The 3dfx reference one keeps re-installing itself. I`ve
removed all files and registry entries prior to installing the
MonsterII one`s. Please help.
thanks,
Jason

I'm having problems with the new drivers as well. Viper's all fouled up
(Oct.
demo 2.2; the screen's all milky-white and FPS is down). In GPL, FPS has
taken
a slight hit and my sound has started popping. Trouble is, Diamond's
removed
the old(203) drivers from their website. Their tech support, after you wade
through several automated exchanges, says to expect a reply in 2-3 days.
Anybody know where else I can get hold of the previous drivers, or the
m3dii203.exe file?

Thanks. However, I kept digging and rounded up some of the version 203
drivers, dated 9/98, on Diamond's German FTP site. They hadn't updated their
site with the new ones yet, so I got lucky. If anyone else needs 'em, the
address is:
http://www.diamondmm.de/drivers/DIAMOND/GAMEBRD/MONST3D2/files.htm
The file's called w9xm2203.exe. Who knows when it'll vanish, too.
