The Yellow Flag Trigger is just way to sensative in my Opinon.
I can just lightly bump into another car trying to pass it, and
a yellow is put out. I know the car didn't spin out becuase
the damn car is still in front of me.

This happens all the time

I've had times where I've whacked the outside wall coming out of a turn
hard enough to "damage wheel" or whatever, but always kept the car
pointed in the right direction, but the yellow would still come out.
Must have been all that debris falling off my fine Monte Carlo.  But
you know those Chevys.

The reason why Nascar is slower than, for example, than
NFS, is that at the same time as it handles the graphics,
it also handles heavy AI and physics routines, which defini-
tely are not part of Need for speed or other arcade games.

However, Mr. Genter posted a while back that Papyrus has de-
veloped an improvement to their texture mapping engine that
(on Pentium machines only) gives up to +70% performance
in texture mapping. Thus... Indycar 2.0 and the upcoming
Nascar for Windows should have pretty nice frame rates even
on lower end Pentium machines (I.E. P90)
