Just wondering if anyone else was having this problem. When I go from the
game setup menu to the game menue just before you launch into the actual
race, it quits back to the desktop.  It only seems to do this whilst I have
my logitech wingman ff plugged in.  Any suggestions would be great

Thanks in advance

My brother in law was having a similar problem with Superbike 2000 and traced
it to a bad sound card.  I don't know if you have your Logitech wheel plugged
into your sound card or not.  This may be the problem.

F1RC has problems with various FF wheels at the moment.  (For instance, to
get it to work with the Guillemot, you have to have the control panel
properties open before you launch the game!)
Thse issues are being addressed in a patch that will supposedly be out in
the next 12 days.

I've had that one launch back to the desktop with my logi wff several times.
It's USB, so no connection with the sound card, I would say (as mentioned in
one of the replies). Actually, the game messed up so much ( it even caused
window to install network adapter-drivers) I returned it to the shop.

Thanks for that guys, that seems to be the problem, it is definately the ff
wheel, because when I disable ff it works like a charm.  BTW very happy with
the game, and I agree with you on your prior messages Iain.
