If you are having trouble with using the CH Virtual Pilot Pro with Pro
Pedals in GP3, try this..

Setup two joysticks in Windows 95/98 control panel Game controllers section

For the Joystick, install as a 4 Button Flight Yoke
For Pedals choose Custom and setup as a 2Button/ 2Axis Controller
Make sure switch on Pedals is set to Car

Calibrate both controllers in Windows.
Note!  it may be necessary to make sure the Pedals have the lowest Conroller
ID number  in the Game controller advanced panel

Fire Up GP3    (Anyone know how to start it without the Intro?)

Goto Controller setup screen and select a new controller

Set The Controller Type to WHEEL
Set Steering Device to JOYSTICK A Horizontal  & Analogue
Set Acceleration Device to JOYSTICK B Vertical & Analogue
Set Brake Device to JOTSTICK B Horizontal & Analogue

Set Gear Up to JOY B  1  (or 2)
Set Gear Down to JOY B 2 (or 1)

Make sure the box marked Device Driven Calibration is set to ON

Calibrate the Joysticks in GP3

All should now be OK

Note this setup only gives you two usable buttons out of the 6 available on
the CH VP Pro, buttons 1 & 2 dont seem to work & buton 3/5  & 4/6 are
identical but it's enough to give you gears/clutch

Hope this helps
