I was in PC world today ( poole ) and they had these nice wheels in as well
as the new siatek ones...
I have the Logitech Wingman Formula Force wheel ( red outer with grey
center ) with a serial to USB converter fitted... great wheel, but i was
wondering about the 6 buttons on the new one... are they 6 buttons with the
2 padels acking as 8 switchs in total, or are they remapped copys of the
padels.....?

I would like to know, as i may go and buy one on Friday........?

8 switches.  The padels are 1 and 2.

1 can be assigned the shift function in the profiler, giving 14
combinations.
