TOCA2 Demo and Detonator problems with CL TNT

by Mike Zamaroc » Sun, 28 Feb 1999 04:00:00

When I use the Det drivers (NVidia or the new CL modified ones) and play the
TOCA2 demo, the track terrain is all messed up. The fine definition between
the track and the grass/dirt becomes fuzzy, and in the distance it even
bleeds over onto the track. This makes driving the course extremely
difficult. Has anyone else experienced this and maybe found a cure for
it????

I have the same problem but dont have a solution. I guess the old drivers
will have to do.

Jay J is having the same problems too. I have posted this on a few Video
newsgroups and at the RixaZone. If and when I hear a solution, I will post
it here too. In the meantime, it seems the .048 drivers are the best. And as
for .048 drivers, I think the Hercules 057 drivers are the best of these,
even on my CL TNT.

Found out that if you set the mipmap levels to zero it makes all the
difference in the world!
