F1 Pyg + Grand prix 1 = NO!

OK,

I have a grand prix 1 by Thrustmaster, which seems to work just fine
with GP2 and Indycar 3d.  When I try to run F1 by Pygnosis, it does not
recognize the wheel.  I went to "Joystick" and win 95, and was told my
joystick was not connected properly.  I could not calibrate because of
this, and it won't work with the game.  It is plugged in properly.  Any
body know what the problem is?

I had the same problem - and it drove me nuts.  Whenever I tried and
configure the wheel as "custom" in the Contol Panel/Joystick applet - I was
told the wheel was not connected.  What I do now, is configure the wheel as
a "Gravis Joystick Pro" and calibrate it that way.

To use the wheel in "Formula 1" - choose "Analog joystick" as controler
type.  It works.

Good Luck,
Shep
