SCGT - Opinions?

I've tried the demo of SCGT and although it's reasonably playable, the AI
cars are pathetically slow.
Is this the same in the full version?
Will there be a patch to correct this?
Will the***pit be improved?
thanks,
Iain

Have you tried the various patches available at
http://www.racesimcentral.net/***.com/ ? With the improved physics you can no
longer outdrive them, even on medium difficulty.

I found it easy to outdrive the patched ai on the full version. Their lack of
speed wasn't near as irritating as their stupidity. Start a race at the back
of a full field and you'll find that rather than racing  them you'll be trying
to avoid the ai cars which hit and spin each other all over the place. I said
wasn't because I took it back. Awesome lighting though.

Try the game on Max difficulty in the career, you WILL have  a change of
pace.

I had a GTQ porche maxed out except for the 97,000 turbo and 60,000 tires
and still had a very hard time keeping up.  On High difficulty though I was
still able to lap a few of the computer drivers.

AI still is poor from the speed in the corners stand point.  I think
someone will get a patch out since they did for Demo to speed up AI.

there are several new dashes out right now.  None that I really care for
yet, but they are out there, and I think there will be more and more.
