How can I determine if my computer is "rendition" equipped for handling
ICR2/CART? I have a Compaq with an integrated Rage Pro AGP.

You would need a rendition chip video card, like the Hercules Thriller 3d,
or Diamond Stealth II.

You can get a new thriller 8meg pci for $40. A great rendition card.

$40 ?!  I believe you must mean a 4mb version.  Please tell us more . . .

A computer is only rendition ready if it has a video card that uses a rendition
chip, which the ATI does not.

2 weeks ago I bought a Herc Thriller 3d 8mb pci directly from the Hercules
website for $100. Althought the drivers are bad and the d3d support is only
fair, it is one of the best purchases I have ever made. Next I will buy a 3dfx
add-on card so I have both rendition and 3dfx capability.


1. FAQ: Rendition Software Versions (like N2) *REQUIRE* a Rendition Video Card!

2. ICR2 Rendition Patch? (was Rendition Icr2 for 3D...)

3. Was:difference between Mystique/Rendition--Rendition is 3d only, Mystique 2d/3d, Monster3d-3d only...

4. ICR2 Rendition w/o Rendition?

5. Latest rendition of Charger looks.....

6. Rendition - V??rit??(tm) chip 3D cards - Are any available yet?

7. rendition chip?

8. Rendition Verite???

9. Rendition Chip??
