Attention Papyrus Crew:....Will NASCAR II have more...

Ed, Al, Rick:

I was wondering if NASCAR II will have more setup "options"
available?? I would like a more challenging sim. I am already bored of
NASCAR...Hawaii is neat and expensive..

Will there be any "voice" commands in NASCAR II or the ICR2 patch??
So I don't have to use the keyboard..

Oh yeah, will the ICR2 patch be "downloadable" or do I have to buy the
sim again??

Just wondering..

Take care of yourselves..

The Power Macintosh version of IndyCar Racing II supports voice input for
communicating with your pit crew everything that you normally do via the
F-key pit radio.

The on-line patch will upgrade the DOS version to DOS version 1.0.1 as
well as the Windows 95 version. You will have to purchase the game again
to get the Power Macintosh version.

v1.0.1? That's not much of an upgrade! I guess the bugs must have been
fairly minor all in all (perhaps with a big effect though). Didn't
Nascar go to v1.1 in the first patch (then v1.20 and v1.21)? I do seem
to recall there was a fairly hefty bugs fixed list, especially with
the v1.20 release. I *DID* enjoy reading this though, as it made
interesting reading into what I hadn't spotted.

Somehow, after 7 months I was expecting a v1.1 release.

What version will the Win95 version be?

The way I number versions is like this:

<major release>.<minor release>.<bug fix release>. 1.0.1 has no new
functionality over 1.0.0, and therefore doesn't qualify as a minor
release.

The Windows 95 version is version 1.0.0.
