I've got F1RS, I've had it for a couple of months now, but on my Cyrix 166+
it is nearly unplayable.
I have a 3DFX card, but the CPU is too weak.
I'm about to get an Intel P200MMX CPU.

What type of frame rate can I expect?
I am also running at 24mb ram.

It SHOULD work fine on your 166 with a 3DFX.
Maybe your CPU is toasted?
I have a P200MMX with 3DFX and it runs great, but I've also seen it run on a
166 with 3Dfx, and it didn't look as slow as you say yours is.

I used to run F1RS on an Intel P166MMX, 24MB, and Voodoo Rush card and the game
ran very smooth with a full field of cars and all detail on.  There was some
slowdown on the first corner, but nothing too bad and after that the game ran
great.  I expect that you will see good frame rates with your new CPU.

I think it is toasted

It'll be the Cyrix. The FPU (or the maths-coprocessor) that does all the
complex 3d type maths on the Cyrix CPU's is much slower than AMD or Intel
CPU's.
I had a 6x86-200 and it wouldn't run TOCA properly, even with a 3dfx...
Changed it for an Intel 233MMX and all is very well. TOCA frame rate is at
least doubled so I would guess the about the same for F1RS. It certainly seems
OK to me on an Intel 166 or above...
