The problem "most" likely is your soundcard isn't setup properly
for the OLD OLD OLD program that icr2 is. Back in the good old days,
before plug and play came along, only a very few IRQ's were available
for common use. Programmers made no effort to include settings for all
the different IRQ's that were available. We had a Soundblaster
Standard. If your soundcard isn't setup for a dos session with IRQ's of
7 or 5 then thats probably what wrong. Plug and Play throws your
soundcard wherever it can find an opening and configures the card so
the Win9x enviroment can handle it. But dos is much more picky and
finicky.
