NEWSFLASH:  The race has never been cancelled!  Can you not read?  The
race, as it stands, will be rescheduled in the fall.  Keep your
ticket, attend the race and shut up!  And next time make sure you
understand the difference between cancelled and postponed.

And since when was HTML an accepted standard for USENET messages?
If you look at rfc1036  (Standard for interchange of USENET messages),
you'll find:
"The primary consideration in choosing a message format is that it
fit in with existing tools as well as possible."

you are very wrong. TMS is refunding the tickets prices... already done it!!
Geez you must really be behind the times over there..... And TMS filed SUIT
in dallas court system to recoup the loses they incurred. They will not allot
CART back in texas... read the news BOY

...without consultation with CART.  CART never cancelled the race.
TMS just turned around and started issueing refunds.  Why?  I'm not
sure.

If you had watched the Nazareth race you would have known there are 3
dates the race will be run on.. all the in fall since TMS is going
through renovations for much of the summer.

Now keep your ticket, go to the race and SHUT UP!

I seem to recall from Jacob's group that you have been one of the most
adamant and vocal opponents of the use of HTML in newsgroups.  Is this
a change of heart or simply yet another example of you being a
trolling***head?

A little of both <G>  I only used it on purpose so that the fixed font ASCII
graphic would pass on through without a problem.  There are levels of HTML
use, we need to use common sense.  There's a difference between a 75kb+
successful posts in a thread only because they write in HTML and don't know
to edit their messages, and somebody who posts an ASCII in fixed fonts.
Yeah well I was just lazy, I could had done it easily in plain text but I
was bored. <slaps himself>  Happy now?  Little do I care anyway...

ASCII graphics are the only reason for me to write in HTML.

Of course, but I had to do it for all the other half or non-decent
newsreaders <G> :)
