So Does The IRL Game Suck?

I find the game to bit challenging of about 7 on a 1-10 scale as
realistic as NASCAR on full damage mode it is very tough.

I am an avid simulator guy, that has done every race game from
nitendo on PS2, F1, Rally, NASCAR,  IHRA, Sprints I could care
I love racing.

I run on the hardest levels I can set, and find the F1 and NASCAR games
pretty easy to master, the hardest most fun I have yet stumbled on
would be WOO game, but still won the championships. The IRL game
is easy to set up at some tracks, and very hard at others. 1/2 way
through the season I have 1 pole, 2 wins, and genrally qualify in the
top ten.

I run using the simulator I designed, one of the best available, the
RfA1, cost to build $40.00, totally adjustable, turns into a couch,
or folds flat under the bed. Plans are FREE on
http://www.racesimcentral.net/

As far as CART/IRL political stance I love both series, but I just love
racing having sponsored  American drivers around the world, I think the
more series the better. I'm waiting for Formula 5000 to come back. But
F1, Rallying and NASCAR are the bomb.

I hope some of this helps.

Weird, in the demo I outqualify the AI by 6mph on the hardest setting
and can beat them by 5 seconds in a 10 lap race at 100% (that's what
it shows after the race for opp skill) while starting at the back of
the field.  The handling is ok if a bit easy once you set the car up
well, but the opponents are horrible.  I normally do around 225.87mph
in qualifying and they don't crack 220, with race speeds being 2-3mph
higher than that in the draft (I normally pull 228ish starting from
the back with 225's when I get out front while the AI seems to run
around 223-224 in the draft).

Jason

I cannot speak of the demo, never ran it. I can only speak to the PS2
version of the game.

I found it very easy to find the grove st Indy, but found TMS a
challenge, however after taking the time to learn the track and the
bump
goin to the start finish I flew.

Still I think the game is much more challenging than Colin McCrae 2,
and most F1 games.

Maybe it's my mindset.

Thanks for the note.
