GPL & Forcefeed Steering wheel

Hi
Sorry if this is an obvious question,  I want to set up my pedals so that
the brake and gas pedal work independently i.e at the moment  when I touch
the brake pedal
I get a corresponding lift of the gas

Yeah, that way it's more fun. But it would be handy if you had said
what wheel you have. In any case, go to the game controler applet in
the Start->Settings->Control Panel , select your wheel, select
properties, and start looking for something like split axis.....

Don't forget to recalibrate/assign the controls in GPL....

The way you are describing is NOT independent.  That's the "normal" setting
for lower-priced controllers.  A good controller will have the option to use
a split axis or independent pedal set-up.  A real car obviously uses
independent pedals and GPL works vastly better with independent pedals, but
feel free to use the lower quality setting if you please.  I don't know of
any other title that is programmed well enough that the setting really makes
a difference, though most newer games at least support the option.  Chances
are your controller can be set for that in the control panel.

Marc.
