Thanks.

Thanks.

I don't know. But I find it odd that Ferrari has had 2 out of 3 failures on
Rubens supposedly reliable car.
-John
The official at the track word was hydraulics...since that would/should
cause imeadiate lockup of multiple systems, I don't think that plausible.
Methinks fuel is the culprit and the Red team is trying to NOT look
unprofessional.

RUBENS BARRICHELLO
We had opted for a different strategy to Michaels as, starting from the
fourth row, it was the best chance of making up places in the early stages
of the race. Everything was going well and I managed to get into the lead
and given the combination of strategies, I think I could have ended up on
the podium. Unfortunately, my car developed an hydraulic problem and I had
to retire.

Unless the flap opens in some sort of limp mode when the car suffers a
system failure..
Dale.
On Dutch TV the commentator said the flap opening is related to the car
going slow, not to how much fuel is in the tank.
Bart Westra
Very odd though, unless the hydraulics keeps the flap closed.

Would take one failure on the other car and it'd be odd that Michael would
have 2 out of 3 failures.

Just caught a tape of the Speedchannel news. Steve Machet the former
Bennetton mechanic was also thinking fuel...

Michael "What happened to Rubens"
Ross "I don't want to say on the TV, I'll tell you later"
I think a hydraulic problem on a car which was being used for the last
ever time would not be such a ***.
Yeah, he ran out of fuel all right...
Nick.
Hence the fact that he was weaving from side to side in an effort to get the
fumes to the engine.

Sounds fun going through Eau Rouge at 185 mph . . . :)
