If anyone has any clue to this problem I would appreciate the benefit of
your wisdom!
I'm running ICR2, Rendition version. Hardware is P100, 24 Mb RAM,
Rendition 4Mb card, S/Blaster 16, T1 wheel and pedals. The sim is run in
DOS (re-boot to DOS.....not a DOS window).
If I save a race there is a 50/50 chance that, when I restart, the graphics
will freeze, although the sound effects continue....usually ending in a
loud "crashing" sound as my invisible car hits something :-)
This anomaly does not appear every time, nor does it happen at every track.
However, one track that it always happens at is the converted Indianapolis
track.
Any clues? It's got me beat and it's very frustrating. I have
re-installed ICR2 Rendition three times. Incidentally....it does not occur
at all in the standard, non-Rendition version of the game (which I
installed in order to see if it did happen).
Thanks in advance.
