The game is playing smooth, but my frame rate counter is reading only 2-3.5
fps.

Any one seen this before? Should I just ignore it or is it a clue to
something worse going on. I don't see anything else that's acting funny so
I'm guessing that maybe its a issue with the latest 28.32 drivers for my
GF3.

Isn't that a sympton of register overflow that was addressed by the
cpu/speed patch? Have you upgraded your cpu lately?

No idea, but I thought the session time ran real fast if you need the CPU
fix. What speed is the break point for the CPU fix? Mine is 1.53mhz.

Mine did this on a Athlon 1.2. The CPU fix solved the problem.

Sounds like thats the fix. Just wonder why it never did it before now. I
have not played GPL since before Xmas when I got my GF3 card. I had a GF2
before and it didn't do it. Just figured it was something to do with the
newer drivers.
