Help!! Need Advise on a new system for racing sims.

I would like to buy a new system fairly soon. The only games I really play are
racing sims.My favorite games are Nascar 99 and Grand Prix 2.I want a system
that will also be able to run Nascar 3 and Grand Prix 3 fairly well when they
come out later in the year.I also want to get Grand Prix Legends, Viper
Racing,The Trans Am Racing sim and a few more.

I currently have had a Dell P133 for over 3 years now and have been very
pleased with it.I am thinking about getting a Dell Celeron 433.They are coming
out on March 15.I would get it with 64 megs of RAM,a 40x CD-ROM,and a ATI 3D
AGP 8 Megabyte video card.I'II put a Voodoo 2 or 3 accelerator in as soon as I
get it.I"ll add more RAM as needed.

Would this be a good system for running these game?I don't have to have the
absolute greatest frame rates but I would like to run these games with a fair
amount of detail and not have the graphics studdering.Since Nascar 99 and Grand
Prix 2 are my favorite games should I wait till the new versions of these games
come out until I buy a new system.I would wait if would make a big difference
but my current system is getting a little old.I have almost no disk space left
and it is not worth putting money into a system over 3 years old.Any advice
would be great.

If you are planning on hardware for GP3 I'd hold yer wallet. By the time it
comes out, we will all be using pentium IV chips running at 950Mhz.

Seriously though, Assuming that the hardware requirements are similar to
those of GPL this would be a reasonable machine.
