I'm having a problem with the both N3 & NL. When the spotter talks the game
pauses or the video stutters. I have a PIII650e, Voodoo3-3500 and 256 megs
of ram. My soundcard is a SBLive Value and I'm running in WIN98SE with the
latest patches for both games. I have no other problems with any other
games/sims, just these two! This pausing is killing the games and it seems
to happen more frequently when I'm in the corners. If I turn off the spotter
it doesn't happen.

Anyone heard of this and can it be fixed?

   Though it didn't totally eliminate the stutter on my system, the
following did help reduce the effect considerably. If you have never
messed with your multimedia settings, than this may not help.
   Go to control panel, multimedia. Under Audio / playback, click on
advanced properties. Next, click on the performance tab. Under sample
rate conversion quality, make sure the slider is all the way to the left
(Good). This made a very big difference on the video stuttering during
audio playback on my system.

   Your results may be different. Void where probitied, taxed or
licensed. Not valid in the District of Cloumbia.
