    After replacing my old AWE 64 with a Storm VX PCI A3D card, my
steering wheel in GPL is twitching all over the place. It doesn't effect
my actual steering, but is a HUGE distraction. Is it that the Storm VXs
joy-port suxs, or something else? I've got a Gravis joystick and a GP1
wheel, and they both do it, just as bad...... Anyone know a fix for this
very irritating problem, other than getting a game-port card??????

  I had that problem with the demo,  My pots on the wheel were in need of
replacing.
once I replaced the pots(supplied by TM) then the twitching arms went away.
But since you
have the problems with a new soundcard, it is a good bet the joyport is not
sending a clean
signal...that might be tough to fix...

If you are using direct input, make sure you have "poll with interrupts"
disabled in the advanced portion of the games controller applet.
