Hi there!

I'm playing the spanish version of F1RS, and I saw in the README a mode
of play called "Challenge" (It's the translation from spanish). Briefly,
it's a mode of play in which you are given a second line car you didn't
choose, and you have to do your best with it. At the end of the season,
depending on your results, you have the chance to find a better seat for the
next season. The objective is to become the world champion.
I guess that the README file must be more or less the same for every
language, but as I haven't seen anybody talking about this mode of play, I'm
a bit surprised about it.

Has anybody heard about it? Does anybody know how to play it?

    Thanks.

Interesting, but I think that it is an option for the successor of f1racing
simulation. If you want to see the new options in f1rs2 and some pics follow

Yes, I know it's gonna be that option in F1RS2, I saw that yesterday, but
here is what the spanish readme says. It's in the part where it describes
the different modes of play, between  (translated from spanish)
"personalized championship" and "race against the clock". This is what it
says in spanish (just in case someone can speak it):

" Desafo

And this is the translation:

"Challenge:
This mode is reserved for experienced drivers. What happens is that the
player competes in a F1 season, but this time he cannot choose the car. This
way he needs to get the best results with the car he's been assigned. If at
the end of the season, player's are considered good, he's be able to try to
get a place in a more prestigious team.
The objective is, as seasons go by, to end as the F1 World Champion."

So, this is more or less the translation. As you guys can see, there's
nothing like that in the game, is it? Has anybody seen something like this
in his language Readme.txt?

PS I'm sorry guys for the repost and the re-repost. This is my first post
and I thought something had gone wrong.

Well, Javier looked it up in my manual (English version) but there is
nothing stated about the challenge option as it is in your manual.
Also can't find it in the game or the txt files, but my nephew has the
dutch version of the manual so I will ask him if if there is anything
stated about this in his manual.

Well, thanks... I'm beggining to think I've just gone crazy... Why
should it be in the spanish version of the Readme.txt file such a mode of
play and not in any other version of it?

Try this,
go to http://www.gp2.com/
ok its a gp2 site but its has a util to do exactly what you said, play a
season depending on your results you get a new contract, with a better or
worse team, its made for gp2 and f1rs but will work for any f1 game.

Oh go to the software section!!!
