N99 - Talladega Speed Secrets ?

Does anyone know the best car setup for the fastest laps, or is it just
trial and error. I can run about 194-195 without the draft. Is this good
or can it be better? Thank you.

With N2, Good rule of thumb is Fords for short tracks, Pontiac for
Medium tracks and Chevy for the Super speedways. But try all three,
especially with fixed setups.
At 70 degs you should be running 196's and some 197's after tires get
warm. Drafting you can hit 200.

Also, you really have to hug the bottom of the racetrack to go fast at
Talladega.  Don't be fooled by the idea that you can get a faster run down the
straightaways by running high then cutting low off the turns. It kills your
speed overall.

If your running alone yes.  In the draft, it pays to follow the lead car
assuming he doesn't ride the high line in the turns.
