(N4) Success!!!! Texas and Atlanta Setups

Following the comments (advice) of D. Waltrip duing the Texas WC race.
"Whatever (setup) works at Atlanta will work at Texas", I figured I'd
take the FAST setup from Texas, which I thought was workable and copy
it over to the Atlanta player setup folder.  It seems Mr. Waltrip was
right!  It worked like a charm.  With a little tweaking, I'm touching
the line at the bottom of the turns and keeping up with the AI WITHOUT
spinning out.  Just to let you know, this was a last ditch effort to
figure out Atlanta for me as it seems that track gets me loose and I'm
usually facing the wrong way in Turn 1.

Worked for me too up until the point I hit the wall.

Thanks for the tip.  I picked up 5 mph.  I thought Texas was just an easier
track to drive.  I had pretty much given up on Atlanta for now.  Time to
look at the difference in the setups and apply at other tracks.  I'm
starting to warm up to N4 a little.  Had a good run going until the stupid
AI took me out.  "Car low" doesn't seem to mean anything to them.

I have a pretty good racing setup for Atlanta and I tried copying it to
Texas as DW talked about.  It might have worked copying from Texas to
Atlanta, but not the reverse.

My Atlanta setup was actually very bad at Texas.  The tire pressures were
way off, the gear ratios are different just to name a couple.  Just about
everything was off from what I could see.

So as far as N4 is concerned those tracks are not the same, even though in
real life they are close.  But Atlanta is still a faster track.

Hmmm, copied my Atlanta setup over to Texas and was
hitting 189's in the early going! Seemed to work pretty well.

I guess it just depends on what you have for Atlanta.  I've also found that
everyone seems to have differnent preferences for setups anyway.

I copied my Atlanta race setup to Texas, tweaked it and brought it
back over to Atlanta and it was way too loose...

go figure...

I think DW and Larry McReynolds are pretty informative and like
others, I really get alot of tips from them.  Just saying stuff like
"you want to keep it on the bottom here at Bristol..." hey! that's how
I'm setting it up...
