Curious thing. The only thing that could wake me in early morning is my
wife.
The only thing that could wake my wife in early morning is daily
power-up'ing ASUS P2B,starting Windows, running Winamp.
Last night I left MSFF connected to PC, but let its AC adapter to rest for a
night. No morning boot-up followed. My boss was angry : )
But how have I explain it to him ? Maybe it is SBLive! gameport issue
,-thought. ;], but MX-300 didn't help . Same thing !
     Now I have a choice :
                1. Force my wife Alice not to sleep at nights and wake me in
the morning : )
                2. Unplug the wheel every night ( my system unit is
somewhere far-far under desk  ) : (
                3. Leave the wheel powered around a clock ( how fast the
wheel entrails die ? )
                4. .......Maybe you can afford something ?

After all that sh#t with this Bill's product , sooner or later, when I'll
buy the Logi, will I be happy ?

But in RC2000 demo v2 FF feels great to me. Nice !

I don't rememebr, where I've read , that MS wheel is AMMMMMMAZING ang
GRRRREATEST in NFSHS.
Hey guys, have you tried this ? It's so.... Ohh... : )))) Yeah ! Can you
believe it ? I laughed all night long ....It SUCKS !!!
Now if you didn't try this you won't get...

Let's try again...
        IT                  S - U - C - K - S
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!

I don't relally like NFS but wanted to see, what is so great in it's FF.

Good luck !

I don't know about the rest of your wheel issues, but my Logitech FF
has been plugged in and running 24/7 for the whole 4 months since I
bought it. I also leave my PC on all the time, shutting it down and
unplugging only when there is the threat of thunderstorms.

I don't think it's harder on electronic equipment to be powered all
the time. If fact, some say the opposite is true. Repeated hot/cold
cycles from constantly powering up and down weaken solder joints.

Actually, my system exhibited symptoms similar to yours when the power
supply started going bad.

Warren, my friend, are you on some sort of heavy medication?
In that case I think you should stop.
If not, you should be.  :-)

No-no-no-no-no and once again no! Guess, "no" what ? :-))
My father told me never.....blah-blah-blah...

If you mind that bullshit I wrote then I'll try to explain (though it's
serious
for me that my rabel PC doesn't wake me in a morning and every day now
I come late to my office because of the wheel. Namely wheel ! )
In general, I have nobody to talk about something close to racing. Just
Alice
unerstands me perfect and everytimes makes me coffee when I am pitting.
And I have a great wish to see this NG not only "Subj: trouble - Re: no
trouble",
it's good to help , but what about a simple conversation about something in
area
of racing sims and accessories. Maybe you give me an advice to find a NG
like
rec.friends....something I don't know...talk, but I want to talk about
racing sims!
And so on...

Have a nice race !

Erm, no, that didn't make any more sense to me than the first post. Am I
missing something?

I think Warren is Rumanian.
I'd say he gets nine points for trying!  :-)
