I have installed the v.1.13 patch, a couple of problems now exist,
occasional memory violations and program crashes. That aside, I cannot
install any of the utils. The patched binary is now 8,835 072 bytes
which according to some utils (e.g. gp3video) seems to be the right
size and the flag set is just the archive one.

anyone know how to fix the problem, I'd like to use  the nocd patch (
do have the original CD:-) and gp3 master etc.

Make sure your exe is not set to read only. You can find this out by right clicking on gp3.exe in
windows explorer and choosing properties.

Also stay away from gp3 master as there are numerous bugs that basically *** up the game
including hotlaps and save game files.
