I know this has been covered before, but I just bought CPR and have no
luck running the videos in the racing school. Every time I try to
play one, I get an "Illegal Operation" error. Also, if I do a track
information, I get an "Access Violation." Now for the specs:
200MHZ Pentium Classic
75 Meg install
No 3d support
32 MB Ram.
DirectX 5.0 has been installed and all drivers are certified.
Internet Explorer 4.0 being used.
I have no other problems with the game (Framerate is slow but
acceptable to me) that I have found yet. The opening videos play fine
(but apparently Microsoft thinks it has become an ethereal entity -
love that opening movie). Thank you for any help, and I can provide
additional information if necessary (couldn't think of what else).
Again, sorry to reopen this, but I wasn't paying attention :-).
