Daytona for Nascar Racing exists but...

The Daytona track for Nascar Racing from Papyrus exists.  They have it and
it is awesome; I have driven it.  It is incredibly accurate!  It has the
straight pit road and all the appropriate buildings (read - not a tally
remake).
If you go to the Daytona USA attraction at the Daytona Speedway in Daytona
Beach, Florida, you can drive the track.  They have several stations set
up with steering wheels, pedals and a PC monitor so you can drive the
simulation.  It is set up as a qualifying section with a big, lit-up
scoreboard above it to tell the fastest qualifiers from the rest of you!
I had my Hawaii name up there whan I left.(#1)
In case you had any crazy(read - good) ideas like taking a floppy disk
with you to try and swipe it,  good luck, 'cuz there's no access to the
PC's running the game.
To the guy/gal that could pull that one off would be adulation from the
masses!
If you're a true NASCAR fan, I highly recommend visiting this facility.
The IMAX-type movie will make you cry like a babe.

Enjoy

As was stated in this group before by Ed I believe, that thing is
proprietary and will not work with NCR... Just so that nobody goes in
there with a MAC10 and a box full of floppies! (G)

Why?  They got a film of me blowing a qualifier? (g)

Visited Daytona and talked to Engineer in charge of the computers. The
Daytona track was a one time deal and will not be able to be purchased.
Sorry.
