CART / TM2 Problem

by Denni » Thu, 20 Jan 2000 04:00:00

Greetings!
I tried to change a key assignment[reverse] in Papyrus's
CART last night and every attempt left me with a "MOUSE X".
Checking other controls I found the same thing. Now several
controls all have the MOUSE X assignment and I can't change
any or play!

Calibration works fine. What kind of problem am I running
into here? Cart and TM2 have always been good to me.

This is a ubiquitous problem that pops up at odd times.  If you're
running the DOS version of the game, exit the game and try to disable
your mouse driver (usually "mouse off" at the appropriate directory at
the DOS prompt).  I run the game from a boot disk, where the mouse
never gets installed in the first place.

If all else fails, unplug your mouse before running the cart.exe.

Thanks!
That worked out just fine.
