No Problems here. Using a ECCI Pocono4000 steering wheel system.

The PDPI L4 is completely transparent to DirectX..... it only occupies an
I/O and performs everything else onboard...

I've been using DX7 with my PDPI-L4 card since Microsoft released it,
and I haven't experienced any problems as of yet.  I have a Micron PII
400, SB Live, Creative Labs TNT2 Ultra, and 2 X Creative Labs 12MB
Voodoo II cards.  Hope this helps you out.
