Just who the heck is this Excelsior guy anyhow?  Is he trying to break
all records regarding the number of posts written to a news group?

Michael I never expected a reply like this from you!!
Does it matter how many as long as the posts have some
value? If some do not so what!! I have seen many names
that seem to post endlessly! Most of the posts had never
had anything do with this <ng>.
Wouldn't you think this question would have been more
productive if sent it directly to postee? Just a thought.
Cheers Thom_j.

No kidding!  What a hilly, bumpy, technical little beast he's given us.  It's
the junior 'Ring!  And the AI are TOUGH.  After about 10 laps guessing out a
setup and a 30 minute practice for a pro-short race, I was 14TH(!) on the grid
with a 1:38.3, while the top nine were in the 35's.  Sheeesh!  I haven't been
that far OTB since.........well, in a while.  It'll be interesting to see what
turns out to be fast here.  All the Brabham drivers will love this one, though;
it's got to be TOAD heaven.

I nominate Dave Noonan King for the Day!  Can I get a second?

No... You read my post wrong, or I wrote it wrong.  It's just that I'm
seeing his name way too much is all.  Some of his posts are good and
some are "iffy".  I'm not saying that he should NOT post nor am I saying
anything against him.  I'm just wondering who he is.  During the last
week or more he has posted a re-post for almost each and every post on
this NG.  I see way to much of him so I'm wondering who he is.

I did for a while post a lot as well.  Once I saw the specs on who
posted haw many times and my name was #2 (If I remember right) I slowed
my frequency of posts.  So, I'm not saying anything against him because
I did the same thing.  what I am after is... just who the heck is he?

Michael,

By power of deduction (along with a little help from the header
fields) I suspect that our enthusiastic friend 'Excelsior' is none
other than last months over-enthusiastic poster 'Griffin, the Slayer'.

Griffin started to annoy me with the volume and general pointlessness
of his posts so I plonked him.  I think I remember rrevved and maybe
some others doing the same.

Now, although I've been lurking here since GP2 came out, I very rarely
post so I guess I'm in no position to criticise, however, Excelsior's
attempts at setup advice in the thread 'Ferrari setups for GPL...HELP'
had me laughing my***off.

I don't mean to be unkind to Excelsior and wasn't going to post this,
but when I saw your post I just couldn't resist.

Mike

Well, since Michael jumped in and asked his question, here's what I want to
know ... the end quote you use in your posts, Excelsior, who said that
first?  That is, before Shattner/Capt. Kirk?
