GPLqRat version 1.1 is released.
GPLqRat is an utility that extracts sector times from saved replays,
maintains the track of best split times, dream laps (combination of best
splits) and gives a quick representation on your progress during the lap.
Split sectors are configurable. The main purpose of the utility is to
facilitate analysis how changes in the setup or driving technique influence
times at different sectors. Analysis of most recent laps can
be started in 3 key presses or configured to start automatically after the
exit from GPL. One may select interesting laps (fast sector time for
example) and load them into GPL Replay Analyser.
Changes in the version 1.1:
+ Added summary report showing best split times for each car and each
track. Report contains links to the replay files containing best sector
times, so they can be selected and loaded into Replay Analyser. This also
helps to distinguish valuable replay files containng fast sectors from the
useless slow replay.
+ Now in lap report lap time is also shown as a percentage relatively to
the dream lap time
+ It is not required anymore to enter replay file name with extension when
selection replay to analyse. *.rpy is added automatically if there was no
extension specified.
+ Added diagnostic for missing AWK_EXE environment variable. A lot of
people seem to be hitting this trap:)
